thanksgiving in Redmond Washington

30 in all filled Scott's folks house.  It was so much fun to be a part of it.  Scott's 3 brothers and their families where there. Also there where Scott's parents, His aunt Donna and Uncle Richard, along with his 3 cousins and their families.

Carol, Scott's Mom and Scott's aunt Donna worked many days preparing Portuguese food along with the traditional thanksgiving feast.  It was a eat all day kind of buffet, no formal table, instead it was just wonderful to move around so we had a chance to talk and laugh with everyone.  I know I am blessed to have married into his family, but when we all get together I really see just how lucky I am to be a part of it.

The Fun included:
  • there was time for the park and some football.
  • Those of us who enjoy a glass wine brought a bottle or two for the wine tasting.  The theme was "animal"  I tried a taste of Cat Phee on a Gooseberry bush, Fish eye, Barking Sheep, and Fat Lama to name a few.
  • the kids (almost all girls), did crafts for many hours
  • we taught the family to play Tripoly which was a lot of laughs.

Above are the pictures from that day.  Hope you also had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
